No one can do everything alone, so in addition to my husband Ray, who is a strong supporter of my work, I have a "Right Hand Guy" named Woody. He sits next to me wherever I am working, whether it is at my work table in our guest room in SF, my work table at our weekend house in Sonoma County, or in the kitchen where much of my pendants are made.
Ray and I adopted Woody in late November, 2020, so he is a COVID rescue. As of this writing his 4th anniversary with us is coming up and he will be turning 5 years old. Woody is the best part of our lives and goes with us (almost) everywhere. He loves car rides, with his head out the window (he is tethered). He loves walks along Austin Creek in Sonoma County; he loves walks in our local park in SF where he exchanges smells with his neighbor dogs; and he loves time at the dog park in Golden Gate Park where he practices his social skills.
Woody is indeed a part of my vision for making jewelry, so you will find a part of Woody in all of my work ...
