Cypress trees are everywehre in San Francisco, including the park where I walk my dog. The nuts that fall have an interesting texture, and I used one of them to create the mold for this round silver pendant.  It is not really supposed to look like a tree nut, but the texture is wonderful. I added a plain flat bail that looks like it was riveted on and it continues down the back side. It measures 7/8" wide and 1 1/8" high. The bail is large enough so the pendant can be hung from a silver chain (see options below) or one of my small 3-bead beaded ropes shown in the Necklaces section. And ... a beaded rope can be made just for you in about any color you want for the same price.

This listing is for the pendant only. You can select sterling silver snake chains to add to the pendant in sizes ranging from 16" to 20". Or you can purchase a thin beaded rope in the necklace section (see photos included here for ideas).

PMC, or Precious Metal Clay, is a clay product which is easily worked, carved, textured, and shaped, and once fired results in a pure silver piece of art. (I use PMC that is .999 silver, but it is also available in .925 sterling silver, gold, bronze and copper). I am starting to work with bronze clay now, and will be adding some pendants in the future.
